Suggested intinerary for 3-day trip HISTORY, CULTURE AND ART
Day 1 - Częstochowa – Koszęcin
-After breakfast a tour around the Jasna Góra Monastery: the Our Lady Chapel, the Basilica, the Knight's Hall and the Golgotha of Jasna Gora, the Treasury, National Memorial Chapel, the 600th Anniversary Museum, a walk around the Shafts of Jasna Gora.
-13:00 - lunch
-After luch a travel to Koszęcin. A visit to the headquarters of the famous Song and Dance Ensemble "Slask". A possibility to see the performance.
Day 2 - Częstochowa – Złoty Potok – Ponik – Częstochowa
-A visit at the chosen exhibition in: the Museum of Halina Poświatowska, the City Hall, the Ethnographic and Exhibition Pavilions in Stanislaw Staszic Park, Zagroda Włościańska, the Gallery of Painting and Sculpture of the 19th and 20th century, ithe Konduktorownia – the Gallery of the Society for the Encouragement of Fine Arts and the Museum of Imagination.
-13:00 - lunch
-A trip to Złoty Potok: the Krasinski Mansion and the Raczyński Palace, Church of St. John the Baptist from the 15th century. A stroll down the Maple Alley, by the Springs of Sigmund and Elizabeth, a stop at the Trout Farm.
-Further trip to the Ponik village – a forester's house is located there, surrounded by educational paths with numerous natural monuments.
-Back to Częstochowa. A possibility to see the performances of the actors in the city theatre or the alternative group Teatr from Poland, the Philharmonic concert, concerts in the park gazebo or in the party organized by one of our music clubs.
Day 3 - Częstochowa – Olsztyn – Jura
-A visit at the Archaeological Reserve - exploring the unique burial of the Lusatian culture from 2500 years ago. In the reserve built in 1960 a 100m2 of burial ground was permanently conserved and preserved.
-A visit to the Museum of Match Production.
-13:00 - lunch.
-A trip to Olsztyn: a visit to the Moving Christmas Crib „Betlejemowo”, a guided tour scenic along the Trail of the Eagles' Nests, with various valuable monuments of architecture (i.e. Castle ruins in Olsztyn, Mirów, Bobolice and Ogrodzieniec, the Krasinski Mansion and the Raczyński Palace in Złoty Potok) and the most picturesque jurrasic landscapes.
